			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the aspects of our hotel that we pride ourselves upon is the fact that we are a pioneer in our industry.  We believe that change is good and that it is important for us to provide value for our customer and give them a reason to come back.  That is why many years ago now we introduced a non-smoking policy at our hotel and it was well received back in those days.  But now, with the advent of the <a href="http://www.cigarti.com/">electronic cigarette</a> we are looking at changing our hotel policies again.</p>
<p>The reason for this change is that many of our customers have switched over to these types of smoke-free cigarettes.  Not only does it give us the opportunity to welcome back some of the smoking customers that we surely offended in the past with our policy changes at the time, but by incorporating these changes, we will surely increase our operating revenue.  All-in-all, it should be a positive move in our industry and I am currently unaware of any other hotel in the area offering such an accommodating policy.</p>
<p>Even though management would like to make the changes immediately, the process is not that easy.  Our hotel has a board of governors that is in charge of implementing and approving policy changes which will mean that we will have to put these recommendations up to a vote.  The board will be meeting in two short weeks, and we are hoping to have a presentation created for the meeting.  We will also need to make some predictions in terms of what the opposition to our proposal might be, as well as accumulate the necessary knowledge to address any potential objections.  Hopefully they will see the benefit of changing our policies so that we can cater to a larger audience &#8211; our hotel could really use the business.</p>
