I’m sure most people have heard the term ‘mobile commerce’ but the vast majority will probably have no idea what it really means and perhaps think that it is just another business jargon word. The fact is that the way in which we live is constantly changing and evolving and the way that we buy things is as well so it is up to the market to alter itself to reflect the mood of the 21st century.

Mobile commerce can broadly be defined as buying items on your mobile device – whether it is a normal mobile phone, an iPhone, Blackberry or iPad. Essentially it is using an app to purchase goods. Let us for example that you need a present delivered tomorrow but you are exceptionally busy all day and are going from meeting to meeting and that this involves a fair amount of traveling as well. Under normal circumstances there would be no way you could get to a computer long enough to make the purchase and especially before the cut off time for next day delivery. Well, with this type of commerce you can make the purchase and have it delivered the next day all from your mobile device.

It pretty much works the same way that buying something through your computer does. You load up the app and search for your product and then enter your card details and delivery address and then pay for the item. However, some people have raised questions about the nature of the security that is attached to buying goods in this way however the encryption and security used is no better or worse than what is used on the store’s actual website. Buying good this way may not have caught on yet but the market is expanding every year and it is surely only a matter of time before it is the norm.

One of my dreams as a child was to own a movie theater.  I thought it would be wonderful to be able to watch all the movies for free and provide a place that would make people smile.  This dream of mine carried through until I was an adult, but when I went to make it a reality, I realized that I just didn’t have the capital to make it happen.  So instead of starting out owning the theater, my career in the movie industry started out running a concession at one.

Now, you would think that running a concession at a movie theater would be straight-forward and easy, but it isn’t as easy as you would think.  When you consider that as the owner I was responsible not only for hiring the staff, but stocking the concession with candy, drinks and food.  It was a lot more responsibility than I could have imagined, but I learned a lot along the way.  For example, I learned how the wholesale candy companies worked, and how much markup there is on popcorn in a concession.

Based on my projections, I should have enough seed money in three years to put a down payment on a movie theater of my own.  By then, I should have the concession side of things worked out, and I am hoping that the rest of the operations are a lot easier to figure out.  It has been a lot of work to get here, but I know that I am on the path to attaining my dreams, so all this hard work is worth it.

Individuals might want to use custom stickers to create something special for a loved one. For example, you can create a sticker the size of a birthday cake for someone’s birthday, or have it say just married for newlyweds.

One of the most productive elements of modern technology is being able automate your home so as to make many of the everyday tasks so much easier.
